Filled with fairy tale romance and a fearless young woman's quest for truth, the epic Broadway musical ANASTASIA plays in the Jeffers Theatre at HCT from December 1st through December 16th.
Making her HCT debut as Young Anastasia and Ensemble is Allie Matthews.
A lifelong Hickory resident, Matthews is a Principal's List student at Concordia Lutheran Day School, where she especially enjoys the subject of Math. She enjoys singing, acting, baking, sewing, visiting museums, playing basketball, and spending time at the beach.
Matthews has appeared in multiple productions at The Green Room Community Theatre, including CINDERELLA, LION KING JR., CHARLOTTE'S WEB, and FINDING NEMO JR. Having already seen a stage production of ANASTASIA, Matthews is delighted to now be performing in the show at Hickory Community Theatre, which she admires for its history and longevity.
Performances of ANASTASIA are Friday and Saturday, December 15th & 16th at 7:30PM. Tickets are $16 for adults, $10 for youth and students.
Tickets are available online at hickorytheatre.org, or by phone at 828-328-2283. The theatre box office is open from 12-5 PM Wednesday through Friday, or one half-hour before a performance.
ANASTASIA is rated G. All audiences admitted.
