A resilient young woman sets out to discover her past with the help of two con men, in an enchanting adventure that journeys from post-Revolution Russia to Paris in the Belle Époque. The Broadway smash hit ANASTASIA plays in the Jeffers Theatre at HCT from December 1st through December 16th.
Making her debut at HCT in this sweeping tale of long-lost Romanovs and lasting romance and is Ensemble member Kristy Lee.
A Conover resident, Mars Hill graduate, and Fill Technician for Excela Pharma, Lee enjoys writing, watching films, and playing the piano and ukulele. She is pursuing a part-time career as an artist, and is currently writing a book and screenplay.
"ANASTASIA is one of my favorite musicals," says Lee, who began following the show's development before it made its Broadway debut. She appreciates Hickory Community Theatre's ability "to produce amazing shows for the audience," and is grateful to the whole ANASTASIA team for her first acting experience.
Performances of ANASTASIA are Fridays and Saturdays, December 1st through December 16th at 7:30 PM; Sundays, December 3rd and 10th at 2:30 PM; and, Thursday, December 14th at 7:30 PM. Tickets are $16 for adults, $10 for youth and students.
