A Happy New Year to all lovers of trivial pursuits! HCT’s Season 75 Trivia Night series is back and more quizzical than ever.
Produced in partnership with Anita Doran, Andrew Straw and John Duke, HCT will host a night of live trivia competition on Thursday, January 25th at 7:30PM in the Main Cellar City Club at Duke’s Restaurant and Wine Bar. A percentage of proceeds from the event will go to support HCT's creative and community programming.
Guests are invited to organize teams of up to six people for the event. Paul Sapp will be Trivia Master for the contest, which will consist of three rounds of ten questions.
Round 1: "For The Birds" — By request of the previous Trivia Night winners, this round's questions are based on and inspired by our fine-feathered friends.
Round 2: "Walt's Dream of Life" — In honor of HCT's production of RIDE THE CYCLONE, this round explores the weird and wild world of Disney.
Round 3: "Potpourri Round" — Our classic round testing current events knowledge and the ability to identify thematically related trivia.
And now, a trivia taster. You remember the bus. You remember the songs, like "I Think I Love You" and "I'm Into Something Good." But do you remember how many Partridges made up TV's The Partridge Family?

Prizes, including complimentary tickets to Season 75 performances, will be awarded to the three top-scoring teams. Food and beverage will be available for purchase during the event, with 10% of sales from the event to be donated by Duke's to Hickory Community Theatre.
This is the first of three Season 75 Trivia Night events scheduled to take place in 2024. The next events will be Thursdays, May 9th and June 13th, at 7:30PM.

The Main Cellar City Club at Duke’s Restaurant and Wine Bar is located at 335 Main Ave SW, Hickory, NC 28601. It is located on the floor below the main dining space, and is accessible from both Main St SW and 1st Ave NW.
