From album to stage to screen, Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice's JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR has enraptured audiences with its unique musical take on the life, works, and death of Jesus.

Now, for your Lent-ertainment, the iconic rock opera finishes its run at HCT this weekend, April 17th through April 19th.

Returning to the Pamela Livingstone Stage in this must-see production is Ensemble member Dior Scott.

A Granite Falls resident, Scott is double majoring in Psychology and Musical Theatre performance at Appalachian Stage University. She is a member of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and the Student Leadership Academy.

Scott's previous appearances at HCT include IN THE HEIGHTS, THE CAKE, MEMPHIS, A RAISIN IN THE SUN, and DREAMGIRLS. Other area credits include LIZZIE at Lee St. Theatre, CABARET at Theatre Statesville—for which Scott received a Metrolina Theatre Association nomination— THE GLORIOUS WORLD OF CROWNS, KINKS AND CURLS at Three Bone Theatre, THE SPONGEBOB MUSICAL at Black Star Theatre, and THE LITTLE MERMAID at the Green Room Community Theatre. Scott has also appeared onstage at Carnegie Hall in a performance of Mozart's Requiem.

Scott is excited to be "creating magic" again with JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR director Rod Oden, who she worked with on LIZZIE and IN THE HEIGHTS.

Performances of JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR are this Thursday, Friday and Saturday, April 17th through April 19th at 7:30 PM. Tickets are $18 for adults, $12 for youth and students.
