Killin' It: Meet Ensemble member Gary T. Moore from A GENTLEMAN'S GUIDE TO LOVE & MURDER

A hilarious whodunit and winner of the 2014 Tony Award for Best Musical, A GENTLEMAN'S GUIDE TO LOVE & MURDER plays in the Jeffers Theatre at HCT from August 25th through September 16th.

Having previously flexed his musical muscles in his KINKY BOOTS debut, Ensemble member Gary T. Moore makes a rousing return to the HCT stage in this current production.

Originally hailing from Greensboro, NC, Moore holds a Bachelor's Degree in Theatre Performance from UNC-Wilmington. He currently resides in Hickory, where he teaches at Hickory Career and Arts Magnet High School. Prior to his debut in KINKY BOOTS at Hickory Community Theatre, Moore performed in SWEENEY TODD and THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW at Old Colony Players in Valdese.

"This show chose me," Moore says of his journey to the stage in A GENTLEMAN'S GUIDE TO LOVE & MURDER. He is absolutely delighted with his role in the show, and an HCT community that embraces his self-admitted moments of overacting.

Performances of A GENTLEMAN'S GUIDE TO LOVE & MURDER are Fridays and Saturdays, August 25th through September 16th at 7:30 PM; Sundays, September 3rd and 10th at 2:30 PM; and, Thursday, September 14th at 7:30 PM. Tickets are $16 for adults, $10 for youth and students.

Tickets are available online at hickorytheatre.org, or by phone at 828-328-2283. The theatre box office is open from 12-5 PM Wednesday through Friday, or one half-hour before a performance.

A GENTLEMAN'S GUIDE TO LOVE & MURDER is rated PG. Some material may not be suitable for children.

A GENTLEMAN'S GUIDE TO LOVE & MURDER is produced in association with Ken Wilkinson and Hickory Allergy, Asthma & Sinus. The Hickory Community Theatre’s 75th season is sponsored by Paramount Automotive, SunBelt Xpress and Green Park Dentistry. HCT is a funded affiliate of the United Arts Council of Catawba County.
