Charlie Bucket and his family live in poverty. But their fortunes change for the fantastical when a coveted Golden Ticket gets Charlie inside the factory of candy inventor Willy Wonka. A new musical adaptation of Roald Dahl’s masterpiece, CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY is a sweet and salty fable of about doing what's right with life's opportunities. It finishes its HCT run this weekend, December 12th—14th.
Returning to the Pamela Livingstone Stage in this production is Ensemble member Breanna Wallace.
Originally from Indiana, Wallace now lives in Hickory and works as a Family Support Specialist for the Catawba County Partnership for Children. In her free time she enjoys reading, volunteering in the community, and spending time with her pets. Wallace made her HCT debut as an Ensemble member in ANASTASIA, and continues to appreciate the fun and welcoming atmosphere she finds at Hickory Community Theatre.
Performances of CHARLIE & THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY are Thursday, Friday and Saturday, December 12th-14th at 7:30PM. Tickets are $18 for adults, $12 for youth and students.
