Solo Artists: Annalee Greene is the Announcer in AIRNESS

Competitive air guitar newbie Nina believes it's shred or be shredded. But when she bands together with other musical misfits, she learns how a loving community can help your true self take center stage. Chelsea Marcantel’s exuberant hit play AIRNESS riffs and rocks in the Firemen's Kitchen, May 3rd through May 18th.

Returning for her second show at Hickory Community Theatre is Annalee Greene.

A Lenoir resident who enjoys reading and writing in her free time, Greene made her HCT as an Ensemble member in ANASTASIA. A member of International Thespian Society, Greene's other area credits include BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, ELF THE MUSICAL, MACBETH, SEUSSICAL JR. and SHERLOCK HOLMES, for which she won a FPA Willy Award for Best Character Actress.

Greene, who describes herself as "the actor most likely to rattle off a random music fact," is stoked to be connecting with the awesome songs, characters and castmates in this production.

Performances of AIRNESS are Fridays and Saturdays, May 3rd through May 18th at 7:30 PM; Sundays, May 5th and May 12th at 2:30 PM; and, Thursday, May 16th at 7:30 PM. Tickets are $16 for adults, $10 for youth and students.

Tickets are available online at hickorytheatre.org, or by phone at 828-328-2283. The theatre box office is open from 12-5 PM Wednesday through Friday, or one half-hour before a performance.

AIRNESS is rated R. Under 17 requires adult guardian.

The Hickory Community Theatre’s 75th season is sponsored by Paramount Automotive, SunBelt Xpress and Green Park Dentistry. HCT is a Funded Affiliate of the United Arts Council of Catawba County and receives additional support from the North Carolina Arts Council, a division of the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources.
