Ties That Bind: Jordan Spears plays Adlean in BARBECUE


Two antagonistic families battling the forces of addiction converge in Robert O'Hara's searing social satire BARBECUE, which plays in the Firemen's Kitchen at HCT from March 1st through March 9th.


Returning to the Firemen's Kitchen stage to join this fractious family fray as Adlean is Jordan Spears.


Spears, a resident of Lenoir who works as a Validation Specialist for Exela Pharma, made her HCT debut earlier this season as Chris in POTUS. Other area credits include Queen Alonza in THE TEMPEST and a Fairytale Creature in SHREK, both at Foothills Performing Arts.


Performances of BARBECUE are Fridays and Saturdays, March 1st through March 9th at 7:30 PM; Sunday, March 3rd at 2:30 PM; and, Thursday, March 7th at 7:30 PM. 

Tickets are $16 for adults, $10 for youth and students.


Please note that the performances on March 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 9th are SOLD OUT.


Tickets are available online at hickorytheatre.org, or by phone at 828-328-2283. The theatre box office is open from 12-5 PM Wednesday through Friday, or one half-hour before a performance.


BARBECUE is rated R for adult language and mature subject matter.
